Job Description:

Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through it’s three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games. What will you work on?

To identify and communicate trends, inefficiencies and opportunities to Management, Sales & Marketing with the aim to actively deliver continuous improvement that supports the business in accomplishing its KPI’s.

How will you create impact?

  • To be the principal interface between Sales, Marketing, Supply/ Demand Planning and Order Processing teams, dealing with any situations that arise.
  • Proactively analyze and interpret various data sets to identify new opportunities and insights to drive performance.
  • To ensure the timely preparation of information for internal & external meetings or previews.

Principal Tasks:

  • Sales & Marketing Functions
    • Engaging with Sales & Marketing teams to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, to deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
    • Create best-practice reports, dashboards, graphs, and visualizations based on critical metrics (KPIs) to fit departmental needs.
    • To ensure that the teams are aware of relevant stock, marketing, or promotional opportunities as relevant to the business. 
    • Compile and maintain documentation and ad hoc account procedures e.g., Season’s listings.

  • Stock Control & Samples
    • To provide support and enable communication between Supply Planning, Order Processing, and the Sales Team.
    • To monitor the feasibility of forecasts, particularly during Global, EU & UK allocations, through the development of automated processes, detailed Retailer analysis and demand management.
    • Analyzing sales out and stock incoming data to assist with planned intakes processes. 
    • Design business processes to improve productivity e.g., stock management.

  • Forecasting & Future Planning
    • To take a primary role in Consensus (monthly forecast meeting), including but not limited to: Actionable notation, reviewing forecast accuracy, tracking trends and changes over time, data cleansing and influencing decision making.
    • Take the lead on new data procedures and tools, and where necessary provide training for users.

  • Meetings
    • Preparation for meetings as required:
      • Analysing patterns and trends within data to ‘tell a story’​.
      • Prepare reports/ presentations for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
      • Internal – Sales & Marketing, Weekly Supply Reviews, Excess & Obsolete, Shipped & Open etc.

  • Benchmarking and Improvements
    • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for improvement. 

What are your skills and experience?

  • Educated minimum to A’ Level standard.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role (FMCG or Toy industry preferred).
  • Additional Analytical, Project Management or Mathematical qualifications an asset.
  • Proven analytical skills; including data interpretation, evaluation, analysis, and visualizations.
  • Customer driven approach to working within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a “translator” between relevant parties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (with advanced expertise in Excel a requirement), SAP, Power BI, Sales Force (or similar CRM tool) beneficial.
  • Ability to work accurately and with high attention to detail, even under pressure, on multiple projects within the timeframe.
  • Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel documents and data sources.
