Your New Role

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to join the Global Content Sales team. This role supports research, analytics, and strategic insight development across the windowing lifecycle of WBD titles, with a focus on content performance, audience behavior, and industry trends.

The Senior Research Analyst will support day‑today research operations, manage surveybased trackers, and contribute to datadriven insights used by internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with primary and secondary research, and a passion for the entertainment industry, along with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Manage updates and maintenance for the Lifecycle Tracker and Viewership surveys, including title changes, questionnaire changes, and data pulls.

  • Support survey execution through link checks, tabulation planning, and data processing.

  • Leverage Nielsen (NNTV, NPower) data to analyze linear and streaming performance and audience trends across titles.

  • Analyze and distribute title performance reports in partnership with Manager.

  • Respond to ad hoc requests from Home Entertainment marketing and other stakeholders.

  • Utilize tools such as UserTesting to gather realtime usability feedback informing windowing decisions and ad hoc requests.

  • Maintain a centralized research hub of syndicated research sources.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficacy with internal and external datasets.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining deliverable presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Support competitive research and title-level projects, both quantitative and qualitative.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in research, analytics, or related field within media or entertainment.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Psychology or Statistics.

  • Hands-on experience executing quant. and qual. primary research end-to-end, including drafting surveys, managing fieldwork, analyzing data, and delivering actionable reports.

  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Strong analytical, writing, and data storytelling skills

  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders

  • Experience with syndicated analytics tools; familiarity with Nielsen (NNTV, NPower), Comscore, Movio, and CinemaScore is a plus

  • Experience with data visualization and dashboarding (such as Tableau) a plus

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $59,430.00 - $110,370.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
