Te tūranga – The role
In this role you will conduct in-depth analysis and research across a range of areas to address complex questions and challenges facing New Zealand and global economies. You will leverage your technical and communication skills to contribute to our external publications, shaping our policies, support our decision-making and advance our understanding of the financial system.
As a Senior Analyst you will collaborate with your immediate team and across the organisation offering mentorship and leadership to junior staff and actively engaging in project groups and initiatives.

We’re looking for a collaborative worker, who can work to deadlines effectively. To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant professional experience in the fields of banking, insurance, financial markets, accounting, macroeconomics, economics, or at other central banks
Analytical and research skills
Understanding of financial systems, especially banking and regulatory frameworks
Experience with data collections or performing policy analysis
The proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
