About your team

The Finance Technology function provides systems development, implementation and support services for FIL’s Finance Team.  We support several functions spanning across Business Finance & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting & Analytics, Taxation, Global Procurement, Corporate Treasury, and several other teams in all of FIL’s international locations, including UK, Japan, China and India.

We provide IT services to the Fidelity International businesses, globally. These include development and support of business functions that underpin our financial accounting and decision making for global CFO Orgs, and we implement multiple systems including ERP platforms, Oracle EPM, home grown apps and third party products.  We are system providers to key process lifecycles such as Procure to Pay (P2P/Global Procurement), Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C) and Acquire to Retire (A2R). We also manage systems to enable cash management, forex trading and treasury operations across the Globe. We own warehouses that consolidate data from across the organisations functions to provide meaningful insights.

We are currently running a major multi-year global transformation programme that includes construction of critical new in-house applications, catering to several functional work streams.

About your role

The right candidate must be a highly motivated who can quickly troubleshoot the issues/bugs/service requests requirements from stakeholders and translate them into Oracle EPM (PBCS & PCMCS) Solution. Good understanding of reporting solutions like smartview and financial reports. Candidate must be familiar with MDM process and its management.

Essential Skills including

• Hands on experience in fusion configurations.

• Must have good knowledge of any one Product functionalities of Oracle PBCS or PCMCS.
• Must be aware of allocation process i.e. HPCM or PCMCS like allocation model, design, rules.
• Worked on Essbase Calc manager and possess detailed understanding of Calc Manager functions rules/formulas
• Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques relevant to Oracle systems.
• Must have knowledge of multidimensional modelling, rules, design, reporting, dashboards creation.
• Ability to configure and manage application metadata and mange application.

• Good knowledge of DRM system to support MDM process.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
• Performing requirements analysis and Bug analysis.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, users and Oracle Support Team.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of change requests/requirements.
• Ability to comment on Fitment of requirements in Oracle Cloud EPM

About you

• B.E. / B.TECH / C.A. / M.B.A.
• At least 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience in Oracle ERP and at least 3-5 years in Implementation/ Support of Oracle EPM cloud applications.
• Key responsibilities will include:
  • Product Management

• Experience in implementation of Hperion with strong application development processes for PBCS or PCMCS.
• Knowledge of Product functionalities (Oracle EPM Cloud) for PBCS or PCMCS applications.
  • Sound knowledge of business rules, Forms, task lists, reports.
  • Configurations/Hands-On, as per requirement on Oracle products.
  • Staying up to date on the latest process and releases on Oracle Cloud EPM
• Identifying Gaps in Oracle Solution w.r.t. Business Needs.

• Bug & User Issue Resolution
• Coordinating with Oracle Support and getting the issues and enhancements resolved.
• Conducting UAT and securing Sign Offs.
• Good knowledge of DRM process to support MDM process.
• Flexibility to work in UK timings as per requirement.

• Delivery

• Prioritisation of requirements in pipeline with stakeholders
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Walkthrough with the development team and provide clarifications
• Conducting UAT and securing Sign Offs
• Resolve Configuration issues and suggest workarounds
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and statuses of configurations and Challenges if any.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Performing smoke testing if required.
