Join the MIDS (Multi Informational Display Systems) Program Management team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as a Program Support Specialist and play a key role in supporting the execution of complex development and production programs across Collins Aerospace. In this position, you will help drive program success by supporting activities tied to pursuit, order capture, contract execution, financial reporting, customer coordination, and program performance tracking. Working alongside experienced program leaders, you will contribute to programs that support critical Mission Systems initiatives while helping ensure teams remain aligned on priorities, deliverables, and schedules.

This role offers broad exposure across the business and requires close coordination with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, Quality, and Sales teams in onsite, hybrid, and remote environments. The Program Support Specialist will assist with risk and opportunity management, action item tracking, bid and proposal efforts, and reporting activities that support both internal stakeholders and external customers. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively across teams, and maintain momentum in fast moving and sometimes ambiguous situations.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the execution of complex development and production programs and proposals under the guidance of senior program management leaders
  • Coordinate across cross functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Contracts, Quality, Sales, and Finance to support program objectives and deliverables
  • Assist with program execution activities including risk and opportunity management, action item tracking, financial and data reporting, customer coordination, and program reviews
  • Contribute to bid and proposal efforts through coordination, reporting, and execution support activities across the integrated program team
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to support effective communication and timely decision making
  • Analyze program data, identify issues or risks, and help drive resolution of complex challenges affecting program performance and schedule
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, organization, and execution against deadlines
  • Apply industry practices, program management principles, and sound judgment to support day to day program operations and strategic objectives
  • Work independently with minimal oversight while proactively driving tasks through completion and escalating issues as needed
  • Serve as a key contributor within the Integrated Program Team (IPT), supporting collaboration and alignment across onsite, hybrid, and remote environments

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in formal or informal capacities, with the ability to help guide teams through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and schedule driven environments
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines with minimal oversight

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience interfacing directly with external customers and supporting customer related program activities
  • Prior experience supporting obsolescence tracking, coordination, or lifecycle management activities
  • Experience supporting bid and proposal efforts, including coordination, reporting, and cross functional collaboration
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively coordinate across multiple stakeholders and teams

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
