The Senior Analyst, Pricing Analytics supports the Pricing team and works closely with the Revenue and Product organization. In this role, you will contribute analytical insights on strategic pricing and help evaluate product analytics, customer analytics, pricing strategy, price optimization, price setting, promotions, and commercial policies.

Responsibilities:
Pricing Frameworks & Governance
- Support the development and execution of pricing strategies using quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Assist in managing list pricing, annual price reviews, and renewal price actions.
- Contribute to defining commercial policies, segmentation, and discount/promotion governance.
- Monitor pricing performance, compliance, and KPIs; identify areas for improvement.
Analytics & Modeling
- Build and maintain pricing models; enhance them using new data sources and analytical techniques.
- Apply advanced analytics (elasticity, experiments, scenario modeling) to support price optimization.
- Analyze market trends and competitive pricing practices to inform recommendations.
Market, Customer & Product Insights
- Estimate impact and identify opportunities using transactional and usage‑based data.
- Deliver insights to influence product packaging, value propositions, and commercial plans.
Partnering & Influence
- Provide analytical support to Sales for strategic price negotiations.
- Partner with Product and Finance to support pricing and revenue strategies.
- Partner with Sales Operations and Commercial Enablement to translate pricing strategies and policies into scalable CPQ rules, workflows, and approval logic.
Tools & Automation
- Develop pricing tools and dashboards that support efficient and transparent decision‑making.
- Build automated data pipelines to streamline recurring pricing analyses and reduce manual effort.
Basic Qualifications:
B.Eng. /BS degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree (MBA, MCA, MCom, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing or data analysis in the Information Services industry.
- Experience in pricing analysis, pricing strategy, price optimization, price setting, promotions, and policy/tactics.
- Experience working with CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ or similar) and integrating pricing models, discount frameworks into quoting workflows.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with Python/R/Tableau/SQL preferred.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and an organized approach.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities in parallel.
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written).
