Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Program Management team supporting Global Payroll and Stock (Equity) Programs, including RSU/ESPP, 401(k), and deferred compensation.

This role will support digital transformation efforts, including data automation, AI-enabled enhancements, and process optimization across payroll and stock administration. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Payroll/Stock Programs, this role will contribute to initiatives that streamline processes, improve data integrity, and enhance the employee experience.

The ideal candidate brings experience in Workday Payroll (global integrations preferred), along with a strong understanding of how upstream HCM transactions (e.g., hires, job changes, compensation, benefits, and leave events) impact payroll outcomes, integrations, and compliance. They possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and translate insights into actionable solutions. This individual is adept at connecting systems and process dependencies and proactively identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

You will partner cross-functionally with People & Places, Total Rewards, Finance, and Technology teams to support scalable solutions, reporting, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Support

  • Support payroll and stock process improvement initiatives across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and hypercare
  • Assist in developing project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies, and ensuring timely execution of deliverables
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and support solution design and implementation

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Contribute to efforts to streamline and automate payroll and equity processes, with a focus on scalability and touchless operations
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for data automation and AI-enabled enhancements (e.g., anomaly detection, workflow efficiencies), including supporting testing and implementation
  • Document current and future-state processes, including workflows, controls, and data dependencies

Systems & Integrations

  • Support Workday Payroll and HCM operations, including EIBs, integrations, and system updates
  • Monitor payroll-related integrations, reports, and alerts; assist in troubleshooting issues and support resolution of data discrepancies
  • Partner with HRIS and Technology teams to support Workday releases and configuration updates impacting payroll and equity
  • Collaborate with external vendors (e.g., payroll providers, brokerage platforms) to support operational effectiveness

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to payroll accuracy, equity transactions, and program performance
  • Support current and future state requirements mapping for projects, including process documentation, gap analysis, and alignment to payroll, equity, and 401(k) program objectives
  • Analyze data trends and variances to identify issues and provide actionable insights
  • Support creation of reporting requirements and validation checks to ensure data accuracy across payroll and equity processes

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support execution of payroll and stock initiatives
  • Communicate updates, risks, and insights clearly to stakeholders, including contributing to end-user and employee-facing communications as needed
  • Provide support in addressing employee and stakeholder inquiries related to payroll and equity programs

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll operations, equity/stock administration, HR systems, or program/project support roles
  • Working knowledge of global payroll processes, including equity compensation impacts (RSU/ESPP) and 401(k)
  • Experience with Workday Payroll, HCM, and integrations (EIBs)
  • Experience supporting process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives, including exposure to AI-enabled solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in Excel and reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Familiarity with platforms such as iiPay, SAP, E*TRADE, Fidelity, or Vanguard
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Airtable, Power BI, Alteryx, Miro, Lucidchart, or Visio
