Senior Analyst Investor Relations

Atlanta, GA Full time

Your Work Matters

As a Senior Investor Relations Analyst at Floor & Decor, you will shape how our growth story is understood, valued, and trusted by the market. You’ll work directly with our CEO, CFO, and senior leadership at the moments that matter most—earnings, guidance shifts, strategic pivots—translating complex financial and operational performance into clear, compelling narratives.

Your Day Consists Of

  • Partnering with executive leadership to articulate our strategy, performance, and long-term growth story to investors and analysts—ensuring alignment, clarity, and credibility
  • Owning critical elements of the quarterly earnings cycle: gathering and validating data, building decks, drafting scripts, preparing Q&A, and supporting post-earnings follow-up
  • Drafting and refining press releases, executive remarks, earnings materials, and investor communications with precision and tone discipline
  • Monitoring analyst estimates, peer performance, and market sentiment—surfacing insights and emerging investor concerns before they become headlines
  • Supporting scenario modeling and guidance analysis to prepare leadership for changing conditions
  • Managing investor engagement logistics including IR website updates, webcasts, conferences, roadshows, and corporate access coordination

You’ll Be Successful With

  • 4–6 years of experience in investor relations, equity research (buy- or sell-side), investment banking, or FP&A where you’ve built credibility around numbers and narrative
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field
  • Deep financial acumen—you can interpret income statements, cash flow, valuation frameworks, and capital markets dynamics without missing the nuance
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills with a sharp eye for accuracy; you’re the person who catches what others miss
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with FactSet, Bloomberg, or Nasdaq IR Insight is a plus
  • Executive presence and composure—you’re comfortable supporting C-suite leaders in high-visibility, high-stakes settings

Work Environment / Physical Expectations

• Primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting, though occasional walking, standing, or light physical activity (lifting up to 20 lbs) may be needed.

• Work is typically performed in a quiet to moderate office setting, with occasional exposure to active warehouse environments and moving equipment.
