Raytheon is seeking a high performing professional to fill a role in Employee & Labor Relations (ELR) supporting the unionized populations in our Northeast Operations.  In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with the ELR group and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying ELR solutions in a proactive manner that meet the contractual requirements of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The ability to execute project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role. The successful candidate should demonstrate an understanding of how ELR can support business growth and performance.

The position will be located on-site in Andover, Massachusetts. 

The Employee & Labor Relations Senior Analyst will support the ELR team with analysis and reports to promote execution of team objectives related to hiring, recalls, reductions, and movement of unionized populations. Ideal candidate will promote a team environment by working with internal organizations to accomplish responsibilities and objectives which will require ingenuity and creativity to develop solutions to complex problems.

What You Will Do

  • Execution of ELR processes and activities to support Northeast Operations.
  • Act as an internal consultant to management in the interpretation of CBA language regarding internal job postings, manpower movement, disciplinary & grievance databases.
  • Administer manpower movement processes according to Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Maintain accuracy of union seniority system.
  • Serve as point of contact for represented employee population for questions concerning shift preference, change of status, and job requisitions.
  • Provide workforce planning support, to include the review and processing of labor loans.
  • Generate reports, maintain ELR systems, develop metrics and analyze data; to include recording and tracking overtime and discipline. Provide reports to management and Union as required.
  • Coordinate and manage Sensor’s ELR continuous improvement projects and initiatives. 
  • Participate as needed on various teams to develop solutions to complex challenges that impede productivity or effectiveness of ELR key processes.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

  • 1 year minimum experience in Labor Relations or similar field.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and independently with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable federal and state employment and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
