Senior Analyst – CTO - Cloud SRE

As a valued member of the MGGS team, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues to develop your skills, contribute to shared goals, and support the success of the team:

  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues independently, learning from root cause analysis and incident reviews.
  • Diving into the unknown with an open mind, drawing on all of your expertise, to identify similarities and patterns to tackle new and unfamiliar issues and problems.
  • Help monitor and support production systems and cloud infrastructure, contributing to stability and performance improvements.
  • Assist in designing and own the development and deployment of automated solutions across Azure and other platforms under guidance.
  • Support the implementation of processes, best practices, and technical standards as directed by the team manager.
  • Collaborate with offshore and onshore colleagues to assist in day-to-day operations and contribute to team goals.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, manage workload effectively, and ensure timely delivery aligned with project and service objectives.
  • Support disaster recovery testing efforts to help ensure system resilience and business continuity.
  • Learn and apply enterprise governance, compliance, and risk mitigation practices in daily operations.
     

    Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

  • A degree and training within a technology or engineering discipline
  • 3 years of experience in SRE, Application Support, Infrastructure Support or similar support roles.
  • Hands-on experience applying Agile and DevOps methodologies in day-to-day operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure is a must
    • Az-900 and Az-104 certifications are required
  • Experience with scripting languages including PowerShell, ARM, YAML, Terraform
  • Good working knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure administration tasks such as RBAC, PIM, Entra ID, Policies, Cloud Networks, Firewalls, and DNS
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git) and observability platforms (Azure Monitor, ServiceNow)
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining container platforms (Red Hat OpenShift preferred), including hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience in building relationships and communicating effectively with team members and other colleagues across both technical and non-technical parts of a business.
  • Experience in responding to and troubleshooting major incidents, both in and out of core business hours.
  • You must have the ability to tackle unfamiliar technical problems, confidently dive into unknown issues across complex systems to diagnose root causes and drive effective resolutions.
  • Proven experience in implementing automated solutions to overcome inefficiencies.
  • Ability to document processes, procedures and knowledge base articles
