Senior Analyst, Compensation (US & Canada)

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Analyst, Compensation to play a critical role in the design, governance, and execution of compensation programs across the United States and Canada. Based out of our Oakville, ON office this role serves as a subject‑matter expert and trusted advisor, partnering closely with HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, and business leaders to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational strategy.
The compensation for this position is between $81,300 and $101,600 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of compensation programs, including base pay, incentive, equity, and hourly wage programs.
• Serve as the primary lead for market pricing, conducting benchmarking analyses and recommending competitive pay ranges.
• Administer job architecture and job evaluation processes to ensure consistent leveling and internal equity.
• Lead pay equity audits for US and Canadian populations, identifying risks and recommending remediation strategies.
• Prepare and present compensation reports, dashboards, and insights for HR and leadership audiences.
• Provide wage costing and analytical support for collective bargaining negotiations.
• Develop complex compensation models, cost analyses, and scenario planning.
• Advise HR and business leaders on compensation decisions related to offers, promotions, retention, and organizational change.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and market trends to proactively enhance compensation programs.
• Partner with vendors and manage compensation tools and benchmarking platforms.
• Support implementation of new compensation tools, policies, and program enhancements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• CCP designation completed or in progress preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive compensation experience, including exposure to US and Canadian markets.
• Strong knowledge of compensation legislation and pay equity requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with HRIS systems.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Bilingual English/French or English/Spanish is an asset.
