Wolters Kluwer is seeking a motivated and talented professional as the Sr Analyst, Change Management and PMO to join a newly created Incentive Compensation & Planning COE. The COE will centrally support 5 core divisions, approximately 55 subsidiaries, and 3,000+ sellers across 140+ countries. The COE will partner with the various Divisions & Business Units while remaining a strong partner to the Sales Transformation team within the Corporate Strategy, Innovation, and M&A Group.
In this role, you will have an exciting opportunity to establish operational practices that align to best practices and support a COE team that administers 8 different Xactly instances for approx. 500 commission plans and consumes 90+ data inputs. The opportunity to deliver efficiency across the organization is unparalleled, and the COE is positioned to reimagine how we execute & operate. You will partner cross-functionally across Wolters Kluwer and within the COE to apply governing practices to the operational processes of commission calculations, oversee and partner with the business on Payroll approvals, oversee multiple workflows, oversee a global COE intake process, lead and/or support Change Mgmt and Project Mgmt activities related to the COE.
Responsibilities:
Change Mgmt: Establish and maintain governance frameworks for Xactly changes (e.g. comp plans, crediting rules, territories, quota methodologies, payout calendars).
RACI: Align designers, approvers, testers, and change implementers while also maintaining the operating process schedule(s).
Compliance: Oversight across SOX controls, audit readiness, documentation standards, and evidence capture for material changes.
Data Quality: Monitor master data quality (e.g. employees, positions, hierarchy, territories, products, price lists), data lineage, and reconciliation between Xactly and source systems (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, HRM).
Risk Management: perform risk/impact assessments and control test plans for high-risk changes; drive mitigation actions and signoffs.
Policy Management: maintain change, release, exception, and incident policies; ensure versioning and traceability.
Change Intake & Triage: run intake boards, assess business value, complexity, dependencies, and sequencing.
Impact Analysis: quantify impact on payees, finance closure, sales cycles, crediting, and reporting SLAs.
Release Planning: coordinate releases, freeze windows, regression testing, and UAT; own cutover checklists.
Communications: craft audience-specific communications (Payees, Managers, Finance, HR, IT) including change narratives, timelines, and FAQs.
Training & Enablement: develop role-based training (videos, guides, LMS modules), host office hours, and capture feedback.
Adoption & Reinforcement: define adoption KPIs; run post-go-live surveys and retrospectives; manage reinforcement actions.
Plan Mechanics: Configuration governance for Incent (plans, components, rules, credits)
Vendor & Audit Liaison: coordinate with Xactly support/CSMs and internal/external auditors as needed.
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales Ops, Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Xactly COE) to align policy, process, and system changes.
Steerco Support: prepare dashboards, decisions logs, and go/no-go materials; maintain traceable approvals.
Skills & Experiences:
3+ years in Sales Comp or Sales Transformation related roles
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field
Xactly Administrator Certification(s), or ability to obtain after onboarding.
Proven experience in sales compensation administration, governance, and/or technical design, with an understanding of compensation methodologies and functional best practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insightful analytics from complex data.
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across various teams.
Ability to identify root causes of common disputes/inquiries or other related challenges, then recommending/delivering process/policy/technology changes that strengthens operational excellence.
Experience overseeing the Review process of commission calculation results; obtaining approvals as needed and remaining focused on fulfilling Payroll submission requirements.
Ability to think strategically while considering tactical implications.
Communicates difficult concepts and influences others to adopt a different point of view.
Ability to socialize ideas and get executive buy-in.
Excellent execution, prioritization, and organization skills.
Strong experience with PowerPoint and Excel
