Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

This position will provide functional and technical support including development as it relates to the Kinaxis planning system application, data integration, and transformation, as well as other planning related processes and activities.  Additional support includes project participation, coordination and development of enhancement requests, test definition and execution, user training, documentation and issue investigation and resolution.  The individual in this role will work closely with the Planning IT team members as well as the Kinaxis COE, providing technical oversight and guidance. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide both run and build support as it relates to the Med Global Planning applications (Kinaxis/Talend/MDP).
  • Fully understand functional and technical capabilities of the Planning applications as well as needs of users and business processes.
  • Participate in project related work as required.  Represent Planning applications on project related work from both a functional and development perspective as required.
  • Build a strong working relationship with the Planning IT team members as well as the Kinaxis COE team members. 
  • Gather requirements of end-user community for enhancements and work with team members to develop standard, harmonized requirements. 
  • Manage issues, document, escalate as appropriate and ensure resolution.
  • Develop and implement Kinaxis and integration resources to support both project and run related enhancements.
  • Develop and deliver training for improvements/enhancements to the Kinaxis COE and team members as required.
  • Document test results and solutions and support CAH change management process as required.
  • Coordinate testing, data validation and planner data input with business users during system deployments.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as Industrial and Systems Engineering, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Classes in statistics, optimization, inventory planning and other related supply chain areas are a plus
  • Relational database and SQL skills a plus
  • Data analysis and scripting skills a plus
  • Ability to grasp complex issues, even in circumstances where there is incomplete or conflicting information, or conflicting views expressed by those involved
  • Ability to steer stakeholders towards a common goal and reach consensus, as well as arbitrate decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to work autonomously in an international context

Anticipated salary range: $80,500 - $103,410
