We are a cross-unit and cross-location AI, tech and experience team. With more than 50 developers, AI engineers, technical artists and consultants working directly with other WongDoody teams, we are team players and specialists - both in frontend and backend, as well as in creative production pipelines. We are now looking for an AI Workflow Architect (Creative Production) who combines deep production expertise with strong system thinking—designing and building scalable, AI-powered workflows across complex content ecosystems.

What you can expect

AI Workflow & Pipeline Development

• Integrate AI/GenAI tools (e.g. diffusion models, LLMs, automation frameworks) into scalable production workflows
• Automate repetitive production steps such as asset handling, rendering, versioning, and data processing
• Develop internal tools and scripts (e.g. Python-based) to improve efficiency and consistency across teams
• Translate experimental AI capabilities into stable, production-ready systems

System Architecture & Integration

• Architect modular, scalable workflow systems across tools, teams, and platforms
• Design and orchestrate data flows between creative tools, AI systems, and production environments
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing pipelines without disrupting production stability
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of workflow systems
• Bring structure to complex toolchains and reduce operational complexity

Collaboration & Enablement

• Act as the interface between Creative, Tech, and AI—making complex systems usable for production teams
• Collaborate closely with Artists, Designers, Developers, and AI Engineers
• Enable teams by building reusable tools, templates, and workflow standards
• Support projects from prototyping to production rollout
• Contribute to technical concepts, prototypes, and innovation initiatives

What we'd love to see

• Strong experience in pipeline development, technical direction, or workflow automation
• Solid programming skills (e.g. Python) and experience building tools or scripts
• Experience integrating AI/GenAI into real-world production workflows
• Deep understanding of content production processes, asset management, and rendering pipelines
• Strong system thinking and ability to design scalable, modular solutions
• Experience working across interdisciplinary teams (Creative, Tech, Production, CGI)
• Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus)
• Work permit in Germany and at least one year of work onsite in Germany

Nice to have:

• Experience with machine learning concepts (e.g. model training, LoRAs, data pipelines)
• Familiarity with cloud-based workflows and distributed systems
• Experience in high-volume production environments (e.g. automotive, e-commerce, media)
• Passion for building efficient, scalable, and future-proof production systems
