Your Impact

As a Senior AI Engineer - Business Automation (all genders) within our Data Team, you turn AI into eduki’s competitive advantage by building systems that automate manual work and empower every department to lead with intelligence. Here are the key tasks and responsibilities that you will be taking on to achieve this goal:

• Business Automation: You will design, build, and maintain production-grade AI pipelines, from automating SEO content for thousands of pages to creating RAG-based systems for internal documentation and decision workflows.Intelligent Systems Integration: You will implement LLM-based solutions (Prompt Engineering, RAG, Agentic workflows) and integrate them deeply with our internal infrastructure, including our CRM/CMS, Notion, and Data Warehouse.
• Operational Excellence & Security: You establish guardrails for data protection and access management. You optimize for token efficiency and latency, ensuring our AI scaling is both secure and cost-effective.
• Cross-Functional AI Leadership: You will act as a consultant and builder for Marketing, IT, and Product teams, establishing reusable AI patterns and best practices that scale our internal capabilities.
• Product Team Support: You partner with our Product team to lay the groundwork for AI-powered features like intelligent search, personalization, and dynamic pricing.
  
  
  
  

Your Skills and Expertise

We are searching for a pragmatic, results-driven Senior AI Engineer - Business Automation (all genders) who is excited to move fast, validate hypotheses with early MVPs, and scale to 10,000+ automated hours within 24 months. Furthermore, you should check the following boxes: 

• You have a proven track record in building and deploying production-grade RAG systems, including deep expertise in vector databases, retrieval optimization, and advanced prompt engineering.
• You possess hands-on experience with AI agents, guardrails, and the strategic orchestration of both commercial and open-source LLMs.
• You have delivered impactful AI solutions that automate complex business processes, moving far beyond simple API calls to create real operational value.
• You are a strong communicator who can translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders and provide strategic advice to diverse departments (Data, Marketing, Product, IT).
• You have experience managing AI projects from ideation to production, backed by a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
• You are a proactive problem solver who challenges the status quo and identifies pain points to drive organizational change without waiting for instructions.
• You are fluent in English and feel comfortable collaborating in an international environment, as our team and documentation are English-first.

Nice-to-Haves:

• You are proficient in Python and have initial experience with automation platforms like n8n or Langdock.
• You have solid knowledge of SQL (or similar languages) to effectively prepare and query data for AI applications.
• You possess a genuine interest in the EdTech sector and feel a strong connection to eduki’s mission of supporting teachers.

 

Please note: Due to legal restrictions, we can only hire candidates living in and owning a valid work permit for Spain. eduki is a registered employer in Spain, and you will receive a direct work contract with us according to Spanish work law. 

Our Commitment to You

Attractive Compensation Package: The total compensation for this role is up to 57.300 EUR per year and consists of a fixed salary and a VSOP (Virtual Stock Options Program) package. Depending on your skills and competencies, as well as your individual performance, the gross annual salary will range between 37.900 EUR and 48.300 EUR.
