Being an Agronomist with AG Warehouse:

We’re seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team in Yarram, supporting a well‑established and highly valued client base. This is a senior, relationship‑focused role, working closely with dairy producers and mixed farming enterprises to deliver practical, locally relevant agronomic advice.

The region’s strong livestock and dairy focus means pasture performance, feed optimisation, and nutrition programs will be central to your role. You’ll partner with both existing and new customers, providing trusted advice that supports productivity, sustainability, and long‑term farm success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored agronomic advice aligned with customers’ production and business goals

  • Conduct on‑farm assessments and provide recommendations across fertiliser, pasture renovation, and fodder systems

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing and new customers

  • Stay current with agronomic trends, technologies, and product developments

  • Play a key role in growing and strengthening the agronomy offering within the region

About You:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in agronomy, ideally with dairy and pasture‑based systems

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline

  • Strong technical capability combined with practical, on‑farm decision‑making

  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine, relationship‑driven approach
