Professional Experience: Total 8-12 yrs. Of industry experience out of which at least 3 years as ‘Product Owner’ preferred.

Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Product Owner to own and evolve our core platform capabilities, including authentication, authorization, login flows, identity, and license management. This role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable access control mechanisms that power internal and external products.

The Product Owner will work closely with engineering, architecture, security, UX, and business stakeholders to define product vision, manage backlogs, and deliver high-quality platform features using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for core identity and access modules (Authentication, Authorization, SSO, MFA, License Management and CRM modules).
  • Translate business, security, and compliance requirements into clear product goals, epics, and user stories.
  • Balance security, usability, performance, and scalability while making product decisions.

Backlog Management & Agile Delivery

  • Create, prioritize, and refine the product backlog in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Make scope and priority trade-offs to ensure maximum value delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams using spec driven‑ development practices

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as the primary liaison between engineering, architecture, security, compliance, and business teams.
  • Align platform capabilities with broader product and organizational goals.
  • Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

 AI‑Assisted Development Enablement

  • Work with teams leveraging AI tools for:
    • Requirement analysis
    • Story refinement
    • Test case generation
    • Design or code acceleration
  • Ensure AI‑generated outputs align with product intent, security standards, and architectural principles.
  • Continuously refine specifications based on feedback from AI‑assisted development outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Overall 8+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or product ownership.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Agile Product Owner in Scrum or SAFe environments.
  • Strong experience working on core platform including backend systems and UI
  • Experience defining and owning API-driven products or services.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers to expose or consume APIs across distributed systems.
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

Good to Have / Preferred Experience

  • Experience applying AI to product development, such as:
    • AI‑assisted requirement refinement
    • Spec‑to‑test or spec‑to‑code workflows
    • Using AI tools to identify requirement gaps or inconsistencies
  • Prior work on:
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms
    • License, entitlement, or subscription management systems
  • Familiarity with:
    • Zero Trust security concepts
    • Cloud‑native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • CSPO / PSPO or SAFe PO certification.
