The Senior Manager, Agency Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, strategic execution, and consistent delivery across agency initiatives. This role partners closely with Directors, cross‑functional leaders, and senior stakeholders to translate strategy into scalable, repeatable operating models that support growth, compliance, and efficiency.

The Senior Manager is expected to lead complex initiatives, mentor leaders, and serve as a trusted advisor on agency operations, performance management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and high‑impact individual contributors within Agency Operations.
  • Drive accountability for results while fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Provide mentorship and succession planning for future leaders.

Operational Strategy & Execution

  • Translate enterprise and agency strategy into clear operational plans, priorities, and execution roadmaps.
  • Lead multi‑workstream initiatives that improve agency performance, scalability, and operational consistency.
  • Identify operational risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Performance & Metrics

  • Own key performance indicators tied to agency growth, efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Analyze trends and insights to inform leadership decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Present executive‑level updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

Cross‑Functional Partnership

  • May at time, need to serve as operational partner to teams such as Product, Data, Technology, Compliance, and Sales.
  • Ensure alignment between agency needs and enterprise initiatives.
  • Influence without authority and navigate complexity across functions.

Process & Change Management

  • Lead process design, optimization, and standardization efforts across agency operations.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, workflows, and governance standards.
  • Manage change effectively to ensure sustainable results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, agency management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success leading managers and large, complex operational initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into executive‑ready insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Independent Agency (IA) and/or Exclusive Agency models.
  • Background in operational transformation, reporting/dashboards, or large‑scale process redesign.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and presenting to executive audiences.
  • Change management and project leadership experience.
