POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Advisor, Sales Enablement will contribute to a national team that is focused on equipping the front-line, ensuring end to end oversight of the sales journey, with standard practices, tools, resources, and the learning and development program needed to improve productivity and efficiency, drive business growth, and foster an exceptional customer experience. The team plays a critical role in enabling integration between business and support functions to improve the frontline experience, eliminate complexity, increase end-to-end productivity, and ensure a world-class customer experience.
The Senior Advisor will play a key role in driving the execution of projects and initiatives that support the sales enablement mandate. This position focuses on ensuring alignment across regional teams, lines of business, and corporate functions, while fostering collaboration and transparent communication with stakeholders. The candidate will participate in working groups from kick-off to deployment, gather insights to inform decisions, and help maintain progress through regular engagement in meetings and team updates. A solid understanding of organizational support functions and BDC’s operations is essential to deliver integrated solutions that enhance the effectiveness of the sales force.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Ensure execution and adoption of projects, initiatives, tools (e.g., frameworks, AI/tech), policies and procedures consistent with the mandate of the sales enablement team
Play a key role in leading initiatives that impact the COO Function as a whole, including planning, design, execution and impact measurement
Ensure sales enablement priorities are aligned with outcomes of all working groups and development teams
Keep all corporate functions, lines of business, and the sales enablement team informed of project and initiative progress through proactive communication and structured updates.
Ensure adherence to the spirit of sales enablement by actively managing stakeholder expectations, fostering alignment across groups, and maintaining strong, trustbased relationships to support successful execution
Act as a subject matter expert and resource when it comes to processes, tools, and systems, and engage in consistent and transparent feedback looping with all stakeholders by attending regional and corporate operational meetings
Gather data and insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform and influence execution
Demonstrate stakeholder management skills to influence leaders to determine the optimal strategy to achieve project objective
Play a key role in framing the business problem, identifying target behaviors, and measurable outcomes; map scope to the enablement pillars (training/onboarding, tools, coordination & delivery) and set clear success criteria and governance
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in sales enablement, account manager, revenue-facing roles, sales training or sales support, and a demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies and technologies in each of these areas
Ability to collect field insights through various channels (network, surveys, data points, etc.) to anticipate employee needs, probe root cause and ensure understanding of challenge
Change management experience to support adoption and user engagement of new tools and technologies
Able to build strong internal relationships across corporate functions and sales force
Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changes and unforeseen events
Experience in project management such as planning and managing resources to meet deadlines and budgets.
Strong problem-solving skills (i.e., identifying problems quickly and finding effective solutions)
Ability to influence by sharing point of view willingly, clearly and succinctly
Excellence in verbal and written communications
Proficiency in both official languages (French and English) is an asset
