Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how health and safety performance is understood, communicated, and improved across our organisation. You will transform complex HSW data into compelling insights through high quality reporting, process analysis, and clear recommendations that directly influence strategic decision making and safety and health outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide thought leadership that drives behaviour change and supports the successful delivery of key HSW initiatives.
A core focus of the role is supply chain analytics, where you will work with HSW data from across our supply partners to strengthen third party risk management and lift health and safety performance beyond our own operations.
With a strong continuous improvement and project management mindset, you will lead root cause analysis and develop practical, evidence-based solutions and frameworks that enable progress against our HSW strategy and broader organisational goals.
You will also have the opportunity to explore innovative data synergies, including people related data to identify predictive trends and proactive solutions, helping the organisation move from reactive reporting to forward looking risk prevention.

We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $110,000 - $135,000 of band commensurate to skills and experience.

Qualifications:
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
