Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing expert guidance on identifying and evaluating high-potential regional markets for business expansion. This includes assessing the competitive landscape, recommending tailored market entry strategies, and offering insights into local business cultures, regulatory environments, and emerging market trends.
- Facilitate introductions to senior executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders across target markets, leveraging their personal and professional networks to unlock strategic partnerships, collaborations, and client opportunities. This extends to building relationships with government bodies and industry leaders in relevant regions.
- Actively collaborating with Sales to develop targeted approaches for client acquisition and retention in new markets, participating in high-level meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed. The candidate will provide ongoing feedback on the effectiveness of market entry initiatives and business development efforts, ensuring strategies remain responsive to shifting market dynamics.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A strong track record in strategic advisory roles, with demonstrated experience supporting business expansion into new regional markets. An established network of senior executive and government contacts across multiple geographies is essential.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of regional business cultures, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics, and will be comfortable advising at the C-suite level.
- Strong commercial acumen is required, including the ability to advice the Sales team in developing market expansion roadmaps, identifying critical success factors, and recommending strategic adjustments based on real-time market intelligence. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are a must.
- A strong track record in directing projects which must meet the most stringent security standards.
