DUTIES: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from disparate sources. Solve a variety of business problems, utilize data engineering techniques to create business ready datasets utilized by peers and partners. Utilize Relational (Oracle/MySQL) and Data Warehouse data storage (Snowflake/Databricks Delta Lake). Apply knowledge with Data sources including but not limited to internal and external sources, datalakes, data warehouses including eCDW, BIDW, etc. Apply a range of advanced statistical and analytical methods to quantify data variances and use data analysis techniques to support decision-making. Utilize tools including Tableau, Palantir, PowerBI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc., and make recommendations for improvements to processes, financials, business models, etc. Leverage programming languages including Python for model development and SQL for database interactions and ensure models are robust, scalable, and applicable. Craft comprehensive reports, charts, and visual aids to summarize findings and insights. Consult and recommend directions to business partners and provide insights into patterns and relationships in data. Leverage data insights to find patterns in underlying data and identify variances to enhance existing recommendations. Creatively resolve complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Lead significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Work with business stakeholders to resolve their questions and provide solutions utilizing advanced data methodologies. Develop and refine models using traditional statistical methods and modern machine learning techniques. Employ Tableau and Power BI for visual analytics of causal relationships, trigger points, and predictive indicators. Leverage programming languages including Python for model development and SQL for database interactions and ensure models are robust, scalable, and applicable. Engage with complex datasets including Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, Azure, ADLS, MySQL, Teradata, and Oracle. Craft comprehensive reports, charts, and visual aids to summarize findings and insights.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Physics and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation developing and refining models using traditional statistical methods and modern machine learning techniques; employing Tableau and Power BI for visual analytics of causal relationships, trigger points, and predictive indicators; leveraging programming languages including Python for model development and SQL for database interactions and ensuring models are robust, scalable, and applicable; engaging with complex datasets including Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, Azure, ADLS, MySQL, Teradata, and Oracle; and crafting comprehensive reports, charts, and visual aids to summarize findings and insights.
