As a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator on the Accounting team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Execute Excellence: Process complex, exception-based invoices in Concur and Dynamics 365 with high-level precision.

  • Manage Capital: Prepare and release vendor payments (ACH, EFT, wire transfers, and checks) while reviewing weekly AP aging to identify cash flow risks.

  • Lead Resolution: Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor and internal inquiries, ensuring professional and timely solutions.

  • Ensure Accuracy: Perform account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and provide critical support for audit requests and month-end/year-end close.

  • Drive Innovation: Proactively identify process gaps and assist in implementing modern AP workflows.

  • Mentor Others: Train and provide guidance to AP Coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience: 4–6+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, ideally within a shared services environment.

    • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise financial systems.

  • Skills:

    • Strong working knowledge of Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar financial systems.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

    • Self-starter and autonomous.

    • Pressure-resistant and deadline-driven.

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels.

    • Proven ability to manage priorities independently and handle confidential information.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Schedule / in-office requirements: Hybrid flexibility (3 days in-office) at our Waco or Irving, TX
