We’re on a mission to transform how companies use data. Come be a part of our journey!

ClickHouse is one of the fastest-growing companies in cloud infrastructure, and our Finance team is scaling to match.

We’re looking for a Senior Accounting Manager who operates like a builder, not just an operator. This role is responsible for scaling our accounting function from strong foundations to IPO-ready by building processes, implementing systems, and developing a high-performing team in an environment where not everything is defined yet.

If you’ve succeeded in high-growth environments, take ownership without waiting for direction, and enjoy solving problems that don’t have a playbook, this role is for you. You’ll report directly to the Controller and play a key role in shaping how accounting is built at ClickHouse.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Own and continuously improve the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Build and evolve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a high-growth, IPO-bound company.
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and proactively design and implement solutions even when there is no established playbook.
  • Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across the business to ensure alignment, accuracy, and strong financial operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team that operates with ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Drive systems improvements, including accounting software implementations and automation initiatives to reduce manual work, leveraging AI where possible.
  • Review financial reporting packages, including flux analysis, to identify, investigate, and clearly communicate key variances.
  • Continuously improve workflows to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability as the business grows.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful experience at a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
  • Mix of Big 4 and corporate accounting experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities and limited structure.
  • Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving accounting processes, systems, or teams from the ground up.
  • Strong sense of ownership and initiative - you identify what needs to be done and drive it forward without waiting for direction.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make difficult decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort partnering cross-functionally and with senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated people management excellence, with success building and developing high-performing, collaborative teams.
  • Enthusiasm for process optimization and financial automation at scale.
  • Experience with NetSuite.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
