This role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, tax compliance, and statutory reporting across multiple EU entities. The position combines hands‑on accounting work with oversight of VAT and corporate tax processes, close cooperation with external advisors, and support for audits and regulatory requirements. The role also acts as a trusted finance partner to internal stakeholders and provides guidance to junior team members in an international environment.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Prepare tax filings, in particular VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT), within a multi‑entity and multi‑jurisdictional EU environment.
Maintain practical oversight of EU VAT regulations and local tax requirements, coordinating tax processes across different countries and cooperating with external tax advisors.
Support statutory reporting, tax reviews, and audits in an international corporate environment.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
Act as a business partner to Finance and non‑Finance stakeholders, supporting day‑to‑day operational and reporting needs.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial and tax‑related work.
Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and third‑party providers.
Solid understanding of accounting and tax compliance requirements in an international environment.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a hands‑on and pragmatic approach.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (ERP, reporting platforms, spreadsheets).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics or a related field.
Professional accounting or tax qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, local tax certification) are an advantage.
Several years of relevant experience in accounting and/or tax roles within an international or shared services environment.
Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors.
Very good command of English & Polish; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
Salary range from 12 500 to 19 500 PLN gross – depending on experience
