YOUR ROLE:
Warner Bros Discovery is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes the world’s most differentiated and complete portfolio of content and brands across television, film and streaming. The Studio Controllership Group is Warner Bros. Discovery’s global accounting team. The team serves to provide efficient and scalable global finance and accounting services to the Warner Bros. Discovery Group of Companies.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Studios Controllership accounting team. The Studios Controllership accounting team is responsible for global by title accounting and reporting accuracy and completeness of content costs across all Warner Bros. studios segment.
The Senior Accountant, Studios Controllership will be supporting the film studio production division of Warner Bros Motion Picture Group, including Warner Bros Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Warner Bros Pictures Animation. The team is responsible for reviewing all P&L activity; preparing journal entries for production cash, hedge gain/loss, accruals, tax incentive receivables, and other ad hoc entries as needed. This role will ensure all deliverables are completed timely, accurately, and will sign off on necessary close requirements. The candidate must be proactive, able to critically think and work independently.

Make recommendations on process improvements and standardization to gain greater efficiency and effectiveness within the finance organization.
