Senior Accountant, Record to Report

Record to Report, Finance at Televisa Univision is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player that has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  This position will oversee the daily processing of the general ledger, among other responsibilities.

You are excited about the media industry and how your finance expertise contributes to the overall business.  The successful candidate will display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

• Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing and uploading journal entries
• Prepare and maintain monthly recurring entries
• Prepare various general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accurate activity within the account
• Ability to interpret and understand contracts.
• Responsible for the accounting for specialized contractual obligations.
• Assist in preparation of the Quarterly Flux analysis book
• Assist in gathering support for the internal/external audit requests
• Support ad hoc projects/system implementation

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

• BS/BA in accounting is required.
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
