The role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will help drive our goals by:
Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Preparing and analysing management accounts and financial reports for stakeholders.
Reviewing and posting journal entries.
Monitoring the general ledger and trial balance to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Supporting statutory audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Tracking financial and operational performance metrics and providing actionable insights.
Driving process improvements and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Supporting team members and performing ad hoc activities as required.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Proven experience in record-to-report or general accounting, with a strong track record in senior-level responsibilities.
Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
Business-oriented mindset and a keen interest in the field.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technology.
Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and drive results.
