The Corporate Accounting Group is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Financial Accounting and Reporting Team. This individual will primarily be responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with Company established accounting policies, controls and procedures, perform technical accounting analysis for significant transactions, revenue recognition and other GAAP compliance matters.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to evaluate complex arrangements and determine appropriate accounting conclusions. This position will engage with cross-function teams within corporate accounting, investor relations, procurement, and the business units as well as interacting closely with the independent auditors on various accounting matters. We would expect this individual to be a leader with a mindset to drive continuous improvement with a focus on streamlining and building efficient, controlled processes.
This individual must be able to work with senior management and other individuals within the organization.
What you will do:
Assisting with the preparation of SEC filings
Development of technical accounting position papers and the implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements
Support and implement processes for recent acquisitions including integration, accounting and disclosures
Oversight of certain monthly closing functions involving revenue recognition, equity-based compensation, and other functions ensuring compliance with GAAP
Perform annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment analysis
Oversee and confirm accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing tasks including reporting and accounting entries.
Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts and perform various account analysis and review to ensure accuracy of accounts
Ability to interact closely with external auditors on specific accounting matters. This would include ensuring proper and appropriate documentation is delivered to the independent auditors accurately and timely, answering questions regarding financial statements, footnote disclosures, transaction details, and any other item needed, as applicable
Drive and manage continuous process improvements across the team and unit.

What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Certified Public Accountant required
4+ years public accounting/industry experience
Big 4 or similar accounting firm experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of technical accounting (GAAP and SEC rules) required.
