Senior Account Executive (Political)

Alexandria, Virginia, Charleston, SC, or Fully Remote Full Time

Senior Account Executive, Political

At Push Digital Group we help elect leaders, influence public policy, and shape the future of the country. We use creativity, data, and technology to be the most effective, innovative, and trusted force in politics and public affairs. That’s our mission!

Sound a bit like you and what you believe? Then you’re in the right place.

If you want to move our country forward and have a TON of fun along the way, then join us. As a Senior Account Executive in our Political department, you’ll play a major role in the success of our clients, company, and teammates. You’ll lead some of our most important client accounts, help shape strategy, and drive high-quality work from start to finish — while continuing to grow your career alongside a team that’s all in.

Responsibilities

Lead key client relationships and help them win:

You’ll take the lead on important client accounts, serving as a trusted point of contact and strategic partner. You’ll run client calls, guide priorities, and ensure clients feel confident in both the work and the results.

Drive strategy and execution:

You’ll help turn client goals into clear, effective digital programs — and then bring them to life. That means writing compelling content, coordinating with internal teams, launching campaigns quickly, and adjusting based on performance and real-time needs.

Help shape effective creative:

You’ll collaborate with our creative team to develop ads and content that resonate with voters. You’ll ensure creative aligns with strategy, communicates clearly, and drives results.

Execute quickly in high-stakes environments:

Campaigns move fast, and timing matters. You’ll help launch campaigns rapidly, respond to breaking moments, and ensure clients can capitalize on opportunities in real time.

Think like an owner:

You’ll manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple clients, ensuring work is organized, on track, and executed at a high standard. You’ll anticipate needs, solve problems, and keep momentum without things needing to be handed to you step-by-step.

Be a collaborative team player:

We don’t work in silos. You’ll partner closely with teammates across creative, development, and advertising to produce strong, effective work. You’ll also support and mentor junior team members as they grow into their roles.

Stay sharp and keep improving:

Politics and digital move fast. You’ll stay up to speed on trends, tools, and best practices, and bring new ideas to help our clients perform at a high level.

Requirements

This role is a strong fit for someone who has experience in digital, campaigns, or a related field and is ready to take on greater ownership of client work.

You likely have several years of experience managing projects or accounts, and you’re comfortable working directly with clients, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 3-7+ years of relevant experience in digital communications, political campaigns, advocacy, public affairs, or agency environments
  • Comfortable managing client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor across multiple stakeholders
  • Knows social media platforms, email or text campaigns, or analytics tools
  • Understands how digital advertising persuades voters and helps campaigns win
  • Has experience with digital advertising platforms and understands how to strategically deploy them to reach and persuade voters, including:
  • Connected TV (CTV), OTT, and streaming environments, and how they complement television
  • YouTube and Google Ads, including strategic use of formats, targeting, and reach optimization
  • Meta Ads and social platforms as part of broader persuasion and engagement programs
  • Analytics and reporting tools to evaluate performance and refine strategy
  • Is a strong writer, with the ability to match tone and communicate clearly
  • Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Exercises good judgment and communicates proactively
  • Is dependable, responsive, and takes ownership of their work
  • Is comfortable with campaign hours and the pace that comes with it

Beyond that, we’re simply looking for people who want to provide real value to our clients, be the best in the field, and be an awesome teammate. We understand sometimes it takes sacrifice or struggle. Your parents or friends may not quite get what you do or why you do it, but you sure will. Your efforts won’t be overlooked – and you’ll never be bored.
