Carat offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge media campaigns for Microsoft, one of Dentsu’s most valuable global clients.
The UK team leads innovation across gaming and consumer technology, delivering large-scale, digital-first activations and setting standards for excellence worldwide. In this role, you’ll support planning, launching, and reporting for global and local Microsoft campaigns while collaborating with teams across markets and Dentsu to meet client needs.
We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and enthusiastic Client Account Executive that thrives in a fast-paced environment to join a fun, dynamic, and experienced team. The successful candidate will work very closely with their Account Manager to service our local clients, manage day-to-day account deliverables, and plan / launch / report on strategic media campaigns. Regular budget management and account coordination is also a part of this role, as well as opportunities to get involved in wider agency projects & initiatives.
Purpose of the Role
As a Client Account Executive, you’ll be at the heart of global media innovation.
You’ll help bring Microsoft’s campaigns to life by driving planning, launches, and performance reporting across global and local teams. Working together with colleagues across markets and the wider Dentsu network, you’ll ensure seamless delivery and exceptional client service every step of the way
Key Responsibilities
Project Support: Assist the Client Account Manager and Director with day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring accurate and timely outputs for global and local teams.
Client & Team Collaboration: Support client communications and administration while building strong relationships with specialist teams across all media channels.
Finance Assistance: Help maintain financial accuracy by reconciling invoices, tracking budgets, and coordinating timely billings with channel teams.
Reporting: Gather and organise campaign performance data, contributing to reports, insights, and presentations.
Audience Insights: Review audience data from briefs and assist in turning insights into media mix recommendations tailored to UK nuances.
Qualifications + Skills
Relationship Building: Develop collaborative relationships within the Microsoft team and across Dentsu; aim to establish strong connections with at least 3 specialist teams within the first 3 months.
Organisation & Accuracy: Maintain high attention to detail and deliver error-free work on all assigned tasks.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Microsoft product portfolios and media landscape changes; complete at least one learning module per quarter.
Communication: Ensure clear and timely communication with your immediate team, global counterparts, and local client contacts; respond to all queries within agreed timelines.
Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel); produce accurate reports and presentations with minimal supervision.
Multi-tasking: Manage multiple workstreams effectively, meeting 100% of deadlines without compromising quality.

The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Wednesday and Thursday.
