Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Semiconductor Equipment Engineering Manager to lead our semiconductor equipment engineering team. This role will focus on driving operational excellence, developing novel engineering solutions, and ensuring the highest levels of reliability and performance in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for innovation in the semiconductor aerospace and defense industry.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a team of semiconductor equipment engineers in the maintenance and optimization of equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and Process Engineering, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance metrics.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support cost reduction and yield enhancement.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Semiconductor manufacturing process or Equipment Engineering.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies and or RTX CORE.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership Experience.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
