At PwC, our people in information technology operations focus on managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and systems to provide smooth operations and efficient delivery of IT services. This includes monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures.

Those in IT support at PwC will focus on providing front-line technical assistance and troubleshooting to facilitate smooth functioning of computer systems software and hardware. Working in this area, you will be responsible for providing support to internal and external clients to address and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner through a variety of mediums/channels. The guidance will help to resolve technical issues and maintain efficient IT operations at the L2 up to L4 support levels.

The analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining operational reporting solutions that support IT service management and performance monitoring. This role requires strong experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and ServiceNow, along with understanding of agile methodologies and data analysis practices. 

Scope of the role:
 
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for incident tracking, survey analysis, inventory audits, and other operational metrics
•    Perform manual data analysis in Excel by extracting data directly from SQL to validate automated reports and uncover deeper insights
•    Collaborate across teams to integrate data from ServiceNow, Alteryx, and SQL into unified reporting solutions

• Automate reporting and intake processes using Power Automate, including real-time notifications and task creation

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates in depth knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: 

  • Build and maintain dashboards using industry standard business intelligence tools and platforms for incident tracking, survey analysis, inventory audits, and other operational metrics 

  • Support dashboard development through intake, peer review, and deployment, following agile sprint cycles and dev-test-deploy workflows 

  • Automate reporting and intake processes using Power Automate, including real-time notifications and task creation 

  • Conduct sentiment analysis on survey data to identify customer satisfaction trends and support recovery efforts 

  • Support ServiceNow reporting and training initiatives, refining ticket classification logic and improving metric accuracy 

  • Perform manual data analysis in Excel by extracting data directly from SQL to validate automated reports and uncover deeper insights 

  • Maintain documentation and change logs for dashboards to ensure traceability and compliance with reporting standards 

  • Collaborate across teams to integrate data from ServiceNow, Alteryx, and SQL into unified reporting solutions 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI, and Copilot Studio), SQL, and ServiceNow.  

  • Preferred but not required: Demonstrated proficiency with Alteryx, Power Pages, and GenAI platforms.
