JLT Risk Solutions (a Marsh business) is a leading risk, safety, claims and strategy advisor to clients nationwide. Due to continued growth, we have a newly created position for a Self Insurance Consultant to join our fun and supportive Self Insurance team. Working closely with the Self Insurance Leader you will deliver a variety of services related to end-to-end workers compensation claims management for a broad range of clients.
This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic workers compensation claims management professional to further develop and broaden their experience within the self-insurance space.
This role is based in Adelaide and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
We will count on you to:
- Deliver end to end workers compensation claims management services for a variety of valued clients.
- Implement early intervention strategies and engage with return-to-work services to support injured workers.
- Participate in medical case conferences with general practitioners and specialists, as necessary, collaborating to develop effective treatment plans.
- Complete permanent impairment assessment referrals.
- Manage noise induced hearing loss claims.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the Return-to-Work Act 2014, Regulations, and the Code of Conduct for Self-Insurers.
What you need to have:
- Experience in delivering end-to-end workers’ compensation claims management services.
- Experience working within the RTWSA scheme.
- Previous experience in self-insurance will be well regarded.
- Experience preparing for and attending Tribunal matters would also be well regarded.
- Skills in building relationships, allowing you to establish trust and rapport with injured workers, colleagues and clients.
- Willingness to travel to metropolitan and regional locations as required.
