Santander is looking for a Select Investment Advisor based out of Birmingham.

If you have experience in providing customers with investment advice and see your future as a key colleague in our branch network, this could be your opportunity to become a Select Investment Advisor.
It’s a premium service: you’ll be working with customers looking to invest for at least five years or more. You’ll listen to their needs, clarify their objectives and analyse their circumstances. Where appropriate, you’ll explain which of our award-winning investment products are right for them.
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
Providing regulated investment advice to help clients meet their objectives. Representing Santander Select and investments in Branch.
Identifying potential new customers in need of this Service.
Demonstrating deep understanding of wider financial affairs and financial products to ensure that knowledge is comprehensive, and client focused.
Maintaining up to date and compliant records to ensure relevant internal standards and external regulatory requirements are observed.

Professional Experience:
Proven skills in providing investment advice and delivering an outstanding customer experience (Required)
A good knowledge and understanding of wider financial markets, with exposure to the full range of banking products and financial planning in-dustry (Preferred)
Education:
A Level 4 Financial Planning diploma valid for FCA activity 4 (giving personal recommendations on retail investment products) (Required)
Hard Skills:
Investment Market and Product Knowledge (Required)
Financial Software navigation skills (Required)
Regulatory and compliance knowledge, specifically consumer duty (Required)
Soft Skills:
Relationship Management (Required)
Communication and Influencing Skills (Required)
Proactive and dynamic approach to change (Required)
