About the role
Join MSS Security, one of Australia’s leading security providers, as a Security Supervisor at our client site in Mount Isa. This full-time role offers FIFO from Brisbane and the opportunity to lead a committed, customer-focused team in a dynamic environment.
As a Security Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining site safety and operational integrity. Your responsibilities will include access control, patrols, emergency response, and team coordination. You’ll be the frontline presence ensuring compliance, professionalism, and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage site access control and traffic flow
Conduct mobile and foot patrols, including vehicle and bag inspections
Perform drug and alcohol testing in line with site protocols
Issue and manage security passes, keys, and building access
Monitor radio communications, respond to incidents, and support emergency procedures
Deliver high-level customer service and observe driver behaviours
Maintain accurate and timely electronic logs and reports
Skills & Experience
Full Australian working rights
QLD Security Licence (Unarmed Security Officer minimum)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
QLD Driver’s Licence
Availability to work a rotational roster (days, nights, weekends)
Master license: 41299
