Job Summary: You will serve as a GG-09 Security Specialist of NAVIFORES REDCEN FORT WORTH.

Major Duties:

  • You will participate in Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrinations and education briefings for qualified individuals.
  • You will assist with the development, evaluation, implementation, or execution of information security programs.
  • You will participate in tasks relative to an assigned area in the security technology fields if intrusion detection systems, access control systems, sound making systems and external and internal closed-circuit television for multiple facilities.
  • You will collect, review, interpret, evaluate and integrate security data from multiple sources to assess the relevance of current or emerging security concepts.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Conducting investigations of personnel and physical security incidents to include initial reporting and documenting findings in accordance with policy. 2) Identifying protection measures and operational efficiency and effectiveness for personnel, information and physical security programs in accordance with regulations and directives. 3) Preparing security reports, correspondence, studies, and messages in final form for inclusions into files and or to customers. And 4) Executing policies and procedures required to manage Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
