Major Duties:
Qualifications: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serving as the principal advisor to the Commanding Officer on all physical security/force protection matters that effect the station. Performing planning, scheduling, and conducting periodic security awareness briefs, security indoctrinations, and training to ensure that all personnel assigned are aware of the current security directives and procedures. Coordinating all matters related to the overall Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), Physical Security and Loss Prevention Programs, conducting annual physical surveys, vulnerability and risk management assessments for the station to assess the command's security readiness posture, identifying discrepancies, and developing plans of action to correct. Conducting formal and informal investigations as appropriate of security violations, missing, lost and stolen government property and prepares reports of findings, opinions and recommendations for correction security weaknesses and/or disciplinary action. Planning, coordinating, and implementing guard services, including establishment of special post orders, reporting criteria, Emergency Action Plan reporting criteria, emergency responses, special drills, and guard training and weapons familiarization/qualification for Auxiliary security Force in coordination with the command's KMI Manager and Chief Master-At-Arms and host command's Security Department.
