Your day at NTT DATA
As a Security Client Partner, you'll be the linchpin in identifying, developing, and closing Security Managed Service and outsourcing deals. Serving as a trusted managed services advisor, you'll collaborate with our internal services teams and directly engage with clients to create multi-product and multi-vendor solutions that meet business outcomes. Your goal is to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, fully understanding their needs and the industries they operate in.

You'll engage in consulting-led sales, working with decision-makers at various levels to close opportunities. Your role will extend beyond just the sale — you'll champion client solutions internally to ensure seamless delivery and ongoing client satisfaction, leading to more sales opportunities. The relationships you build will focus on converting clients to managed services, resulting in multi-year renewals and a stable base of recurring business.

Your day will also involve substantial client engagement, where you'll spend time understanding client challenges and helping them realize the value of a Security Managed Services solution. You'll liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all client needs are attended to. Whether it's addressing objections, constructing competitive commercial solutions, or driving deals to closure, your expertise will be central to our growth.

Additionally, you'll contribute to the knowledge base of NTT DATA's services by sharing industry best practices and client insights with internal teams. As the initial point of escalation, you'll work diligently to remove any obstacles, ensuring the client's journey with NTT DATA is smooth and successful. Your success will not only be measured by sales but also by the enduring client relationships you help build.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including different types of threats, attack vectors, and common security vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of security solutions and best practices for securing networks and systems.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and metrics to engage in strategic conversations with clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling managed services solutions to large enterprise accounts, with a proven track record of structuring large, multi-year contracts.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to craft mutually beneficial solutions for both clients and NTT DATA.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, partners, and vendors to drive deals to closure.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales field.
