The Security Report Writer is responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate reports documenting incidents, investigations, and security operations. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a good understanding of security practices, and the ability to translate complex information into professional reports for internal and external stakeholders.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Respond to calls for service to gather all pertinent information related to the creation of a report.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, solution-oriented approach
Be able to effectively communicate with Members of Security and Management.
Provide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and other administrative hearings.
Makes chip fills, jackpot verifications.
Maintains accurate and detailed logs and records of security incidents.
Regularly provide escorts of money and people in money-handling positions.
Provides first aid, including CPR when necessary.
Patrols all sections of property to identify safety hazards and areas of vulnerability.
Interviews, investigate and document all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy.
Assist with Lost and Found Inquiries
Receives incoming security calls (Via two-way radio, telephone and in person) from employees and guests.
Report Writers may be required to call previous guests to gather information via telephonic report.
Enforces all company policies and procedures.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Be in an assigned area by designated time, with company issued equipment, ready to work.
Report Writers, like all other Security Personnel, will interact with guests and employees in a positive manner.
Understand and perform duties of assignment.
Respond quickly and courteously to patrons’ needs, questions, comments, or concerns with answers and/or action.
Submit assigned reports as directed.

Must be able sit for extended periods of time
PREFERRED
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
