We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Security Operations Representative to join our Resource Protection team in Langley, BC.  

Reporting to the Security Operations Centre Supervisor, you will be responsible for administrating and maintaining the CCTV, alarms and access system along with supporting Resource Protection department investigators and contractors with technical support.

This position will require the successful candidate to be available for after-hours support for operational emergencies.
 

You will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting CCTV & access control problems for our retail and warehouse environments.
• Maintaining stock for physical credential supplies.
• Data Entry for alarm and access control requests.
• After-hours support for alarm and access control systems.
• Assisting the Security Operations Centre Coordinator and Property Protection team with ad hoc tasks.
• Maintaining departmental records so that they are accurate and up to date.

You have:

• Experience with alarm, access control, and CCTV hardware and software is an asset.
• Previous experience in security or loss prevention is an asset.
• Previous experience providing technical support by phone and email.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environments.
• The ability to offer after-hours support.

• Able to show high discretion, tact and diplomacy in handling and managing confidential and sensitive information.
• A problem solver with strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Organized with strong planning and time management skills.

Compensation Details:

$48,864.00 - $61,080.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
