Tokio Marine Kiln

Security Operations Engineer

London Full time

Tokio Marine Kiln is looking for an experienced Security Operations Engineer to help strengthen how we operate key security controls in the public cloud. This role sits in our SecOps team in London Fenchurch Street on a hybrid basis, working across AWS and Azure to keep our systems resilient while defining how we manage cloud security configuration and detect and respond to cyber threats. You’ll take the lead on building out secure, scalable workflows using IaC and modern pipelines, shaping how we manage IAM, network controls, and cloud security engineering for new and existing services.

This role will directly contribute to a major transformation programme at TMK, shaping how the organisation delivers cloud security changes for key underwriting systems. You’ll work closely with Architecture, Engineering, and business teams, supporting investigations, improving tooling, and helping mature our security operations capability. If you enjoy solving real problems in a collaborative environment and making cloud security faster and more predictable, we would love to hear from you

The successful candidate will be welcomed into the TMK family to help us further our purpose of enabling our clients to fulfil their ambitions whilst benefiting society and our people. We are committed to ensuring a safe, open, inclusive and empowering environment in which all of our people can thrive. TMK is signed up to the Disability Confident Employer Scheme and we also accommodate flexible working, subject to the TMK flexible working policy.

As an underwriting firm with over 140 years’ experience of protecting clients from changing risks we put our confidence in the ability and talent of our people. We aim to be a ‘Good Company’ and this means being a great and inclusive company to do business with and being a great place to work.
