About the Role:
MSS Security is currently seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at the Melbourne Market, located in Epping. This opportunity is for a night shift role.

As a Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the market, its premises, employees, and visitors. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the Melbourne Market premises.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies efficiently.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential incidents.
• Report security breaches, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Provide assistance to employees, vendors, and visitors when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies.

Skills & Experience:

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher)
• Valid Victorian Security License (Control Room Endorsement preferred but not essential)
• Valid First Aid and CPR
• Full Drivers License
• Working with Children Check (Or willing to obtain)
• Strong Communication Skills
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts
• Willing to undergo a National Police Check
