Job Title: Security Officer

Position Purpose
The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property.
As a Security Officer you will:
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Recognizes special needs/concerns of populations served and adjusts communication accordingly, i.e., language barrier, diminished hearing, concrete terms, etc.
Does Patrol Tours
Monitors Close Circuit TV (CCTV)
Responds to all Emergency Code alerts
Other duties as assigned by manager
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
Valid Driver's license in good standing
Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Possess the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, patients and visitors
Perform alone or as a team member in the management of aggressive or violent behavior through non-abusive physical intervention.
1-year Prior hospital experience preferred
