Job Summary: You will serve as a SECURITY OFFICER (ANTITERRORISM) of NMRTC CAMP LEJEUNE NC.

Major Duties:

  • You will provide expertise on physical security, loss prevention, crime prevention, and anti-terrorism programs to the Commanding Officer.
  • You will develop, implement, and supervise physical security and anti-terrorism plans and programs for the Security department in accordance with Federal, DoD, DON, Regional, and local security and Law Enforcement instructions.
  • You will provide technical assistance and guidance to the Security Department in areas of physical security, loss prevention, crime prevention, internal access control, and anti-terrorism programs.
  • You will provide oversight/quality control of all functions within the department to ensure policies and procedures established by the department are consistent with Navy directives while aware of all Mid-Atlantic Regional security directives.
  • You will coordinate all hiring, management, physical requirements, educational development, counseling's, increases in levels and steps, and termination activities while keeping with the policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles and practices applicable to National, DoD, DON, and BUMED physical security, loss prevention and anti-terrorism programs. Experience applying knowledge of a wide range of physical security concepts, principles and practices as they relate to Military Medical Facilities, specifically construction standards, upgrading security areas/facilities, projects and installation of hardware and physical security aids. Experience utilizing knowledge and technical expertise in existing guidance, instructions, and other documentation pertaining to physical security to be able to provide review, inspection and evaluation of command programs and provide command programs and guidance on those areas not meeting required standards.
