Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a Security Manager who will provide the customer focal point for security, analyze security procedures, and coordinate/recommend solutions on security deficiencies with the assigned government security task lead. The successful candidate will support Nex Generation Air Systems (NGAS) and Production Extension (PEx). Learn, understand and apply specialized security support in administration of security processes and procedures in accordance with DOD regulations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and operate in a Special Access Programs Facility/Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SAPF/SCIF)
- Support the development of program security policy/instructions for consideration to the government security task lead
- Assist with the implementation of the Resource Protection, Force Protection, and Anti- Terrorism programs
- Assist, plan, participate in, and coordinate efforts in the preparation and revision of time-phased, event-driven Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Program Security Directives (PSDs), (Technology Assessment and Control Plans) TA/CPs, and (Program Protection Plans) PPPs with associated annexes, as required
- Process and administer personnel security records via Government security systems such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Process security classification billet requests (Secret, Top Secret, SCI, SAP). Process paperwork for classified visits to include routing of SAP
- Provide accounting and controlling of all documents and data transfers, to include the assigning of document control serial numbers, maintaining document control records, issuing of bar codes, conducting document inventory and audits, the preparation and processing of receipts, the preparation of materials for transmission and wrapping documents and/or packages for delivery
- Process and manage SAP Pre-Screening Questionnaires (PSQ) and Program Access Requests (PAR)
- Prepare courier cards/letters, perform scanning and duplication of various security documents and other program documentation, filing of documents, and maintaining of hardcopy and electronic files of program documents
- Conduct destruction (shredding/burning) of classified materials and maintain all document destruction records
- High self-motivation, creativity and flexibility

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ yrs serving as an Area Security Representative (or similar position)
- Knowledge of common DoD security software (DISS, JADE, etc)
- Possess knowledge of ICD 705 and DoDM 5105.21, Volume 2 relevant to SCIF and SAPF construction, accreditation, and maintenance.
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI
