What you will do

The incumbent will lead the security Installation and Service team. The Manager will be responsible for the assignment and coordination of people and materials necessary for the prompt and complete installation of all jobs within an assigned Area.

How You Will Do it

  • Champion Zero Harm. Ensure that safety is kept at the forefront of all messaging and that business practice is aligned with a safety-first philosophy.

  • Customer satisfaction for installation and service customers .
    Ensure organizational initiatives are implemented in accordance with company goals and budgets.

  • Communicate new policies, installation and/or service techniques, and other modifications to management teams.

  • Establish and maintain programs consisting of a high level of quality and timely service to customers for maximum retention.

  • Achieve Tyco metrics.

  • Regularly monitor results and address issues and concerns that impede positive results.

  • Drive operating efficiencies. Regularly monitor results and address issues and concerns that impede positive results. Champion the development of people.

  • Develop and maintain an effective Installation and/or Service workforce through a variety of recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and coaching techniques.
    Research and share “Best Practices” with the installation team.

  • Ensure that all safety goals are achieved and that all safety related initiative deadlines are met.
    Provides support to the Area Install, and promotes a team atmosphere between the sales, installation, maintenance teams as well between other departments within the branch and region.

  • Promotes and maintains positive customer focused relationships in the branch.

  • Take a lead role in driving large strategic account opportunities.

  • Responsible for the supervision of scheduling and co-ordination of installation and service activities in the Vancouver branch.

  • Maintains adequate staff levels, as required.

  • Provides training, coaching, and counseling to technical associates.

  • Ensure monthly and quarterly financial metrics are achieved in the Installation and service department

  • Such other duties as may be assigned.

What We Look For

Required:


• University/College and/or Technical Degree preferred.
• Preferred minimum of 5 years of management experience in sales, installation and/or service environment.
• Direct service experience preferred with an ability to budget.
• Strong operations experience and demonstrated continuous operational improvement.
• Progressive management or leadership experience required.
• 4-6 years in security industry with management experience preferred.

• Travel as required based on business needs.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000- $117,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
