Job Description
This position is responsible for the physical security of the facility, including assignments of walking or at a stationary post. The position will require inspection and control of individuals and vehicles while entering or leaving the facility, logging of visitors and truck traffic during ingress and egress, writing reports, and performing preliminary investigations.
Daily Tasks include but are not limited to:
Secure entry ways through turnstiles. Conduct random bag checks. Patrol outer perimeter of facility. Answer all the push button calls at the turnstile and serve all visitors according to policy. Receive Fed-EX, UPS, Amazon and other designated deliveries. Conduct traffic audits. Issue parking tickets and track offenders Assist in investigations by reviewing camera footage and distributing clips to the proper managers. Use cameras to audit safety/compliance of items throughout facility. Help coordinate tour traffic during the hiring process. Respond to emergencies and follow policies. Any additional tasks directed by security supervisor.
Reports to: Safety Manager
Schedule: M-F (Weekends when Production is taking place). 1st shift 6:00 am-3:00 pm and 2nd shift 3:00pm-12:00pm. This position will also require flexibility in coverage of the Yard Guard Shack when guards are absent.
Starting pay rate: $18.10/hr
Education: High School diploma or its equivalency preferred
Experience: Supervisory and investigative skills helpful but not mandatory, necessary training provided for successful applicants.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are desirable, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. exacqVision Client Video Platforms
Special Skills: Excellent communication skills are a necessity, and applicant must possess the ability to interact respectfully with all Team Members, including Management personnel, and visitors. Must have the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
