We’re looking for a Cyber Security Business Partner to help bridge business goals with strong, practical security practices. You’ll act as the main security advisor for key business units, ensuring teams can innovate and deliver safely.

As a Senior Security Consultant at Murex, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and validate security requirements for complex projects. You’ll ensure alignment with organizational security baselines, industry regulations, and evolving threat landscapes.
Partner with business teams to align security with their objectives.
Act as the go‑to contact for all security matters within your domain.
Integrate security requirements into projects from day one.
Assess and manage risks, maintaining clear risk registers and KPIs.
Support compliance efforts (SOC, DORA) and contribute to governance forums.
Deliver security awareness sessions tailored to business needs.
Support and escalate security incidents, ensuring proper follow‑up and remediation.
Collaborate across IT, IS, HR, Finance, SaaS and more to drive continuous improvement.
4+ years in information security with a strong focus on technical IT and IS experience .
Expertise in secure coding practices, debugging, and optimizing software performance.
Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and system integration.
Familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries like Spring, Hibernate, or Boost.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient in network security protocols, penetration testing tools, and vulnerability assessment frameworks.
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and query optimization techniques.
Adept at working with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business requirements effectively.
A deep passion for emerging technologies, with a willingness to experiment and learn rapidly in evolving IT landscapes.
