The Security Advisor supports day-to-day physical security operations within the office environment, with a strong focus on access control systems, cards management, onboarding support and cooperation with reception and FM teams. The role is operational, proactive and project-oriented, contributing to both local and global security initiatives.
Typical Accountabilities
- Operates access control systems, including issuing, replacing and deactivating employee and temporary access cards.
- Works closely with the ground-floor reception on Visitor cards, access processes and daily access-related topics.
- Prepares security-related elements for employee and contractor onboarding (cards, access rights, instructions).
- Cooperates closely with the FM team and provides operational support in related areas (e.g. room booking or office systems), including close day-to-day collaboration with Site Management Team.
- Conducts regular security walkthroughs and reports any irregularities related to access, security infrastructure or user behaviour.
- Contributes to the implementation and co-creation of local and international security-related projects, documentation and systems.
- Actively works in security- and FM-related systems and service management tools (including ticketing platforms) to support access control, onboarding, incident handling and day-to-day security operations.
- Proactively identifies, proposes and supports the implementation of improvements in security processes and day-to-day operations.
- Performs additional administrative and operational tasks within the Facilities Management and Integrated Infrastructure scope, as required by business needs and aligned with the role’s competencies.
